At CMNTY we strive to offer you the best tools to get your research job done, especially during these tough times. This month’s update is once again packed with solutions to make your research life easier and get you insights faster.
Polls in Focus
One of the most requested solutions for Focus was the ability to launch polls. That’s why we’ve been introduced Polls in Focus earlier this month. Read all about it in our separate blog article here.
Increased dimensions of WhiteBoard
We’ve increased the dimension of WhiteBoard within Focus to give you more space to draw in. WhiteBoard can help you explain something in a more visual way or if you want to sketch something quickly. Currently, we are reviewing to add more options to WhiteBoard. Feel free to reach out to us if you have some great ideas to improve WhiteBoard.
Another highly requested solution that we’ve implemented is the ability to have a 1-on-1 chat. A 1-on-1 chat is incredibly helpful when one of your attendees has issues, and you, as a supporting moderator, want to aid your attendee. Without distracting the group itself, you can use the chat to communicate with this attendee.
Improved Chat Interface
One of the challenges mentioned a lot regarding the current chat is that switching between channels is cumbersome. That’s why we’ve integrated all conversations within one view with a clear distinction between different channels. With quick links on, for example, the names, you can quickly switch to other channels to share your message.
Improved Recording Interface
When viewing the recording of your Focus Group Session, screen sharing and video sharing were still missing. We’ve included both within the recording, so you also see what you’ve shared when you review your session.
In November we will be launching our new wizard which will guide you to the first steps of configuring your platform. We also will be presenting options to hide PII from your participants. Finally we will be updating the task list based on input we’ve received from you. Stay tuned!
By the time you read this, your platform has already been updated with these improvements. If you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out to our team here.
