The To Do List is a widget that shows an overview of activities that a user hasn’t done yet. The purpose of this widget is to draw users’ attention to new module content and to show them a list of activities in the platform. This list adapts to the actions of the user and therefore is personalized for every user.
Members can see the actions they haven’t completed for individual modules in one overview. When you click on an action, you will go to the relevant module on the Activities overview directly, this is actually a more detailed to-do list on a separate page.
If you have completed all actions of a certain module, this module will not be displayed in the widget anymore until there are new actions for this module.
In the Admin section, you can edit the title and description of the widget. You can also set a timeframe, which is how long an action will be visible in the to-do list.
Example: If you select a timeframe of 7 days, only the actions from the last 7 days will be visible in the widget. If a questionnaire is 8 days old and a user has not yet participated, it will not be visible in the to-do list anymore after the 7th day.
You can do this by following the steps below:
- Choose Configure at the top menu of Admin.
- Choose Widgets at the left menu.
- Search for the To Do List widget and select Edit at the Options drop-down.
You can add this widget to a page by following the steps in this article.
